New MacBook Pro May Have Magic Toolbar

Hints have started to appear about Apple’s brand new Macbook Pro, and the most striking difference that has been revealed with the existing model, is that it will come with a second OLED mini display which will replace the function row on the keyboard, and could be named Magic Toolbar.
In just a week, Apple will most probably unveil the successor to its current MacBook Pro. This is probably the reason why The Trademark Ninja has started uncovering information about the new features. Several signs have also indicated that Apple now owns the ‘Magic Toolbar’ trademark. It is quite safe to say that it seems that it is a logical name for the rumored keyboard display.
This is, however, not the first rumor about the upcoming MacBook Pro. Numerous reports have indicated that Apple wants to try something new with the MacBook Pro by adding a second mini screen above the keyboard. Meanwhile, Apple has never made laptops with touch screens, and this narrow touch screen would feature shortcuts and could change depending on the app which you are using.
However, it is unknown how Apple plans to take advantage of this particular touch screen. Buttons might change depending on the app which you are using. Developers could also take advantage of this screen in order to add their own shortcuts. However, it might make you think about the system functions such as media keys and brightness, along with the display notifications on the bar.
Once again, a newly incorporated company filed for the trademark across the world, hence, it is really difficult to know for sure that Apple is behind it. But, this company has worked with the same lawyers who worked on the AirPod's trademark. It seems like a nice coincidence.
As for the name Magic Toolbar, it has been clearly suggested that it’s going to be used as a toolbar, with all the on-screen buttons and icons which you expect from your favorite apps.
The well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities already spilled the beans way back in May by unveiling the latest hardware features. In particular, the new 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro should be thinner and lighter. It should also come with the latest Intel Skylake processors for a better performance and battery life.
The three most interesting aspects of this new design are the Magic Toolbar, with the addition of a Touch ID sensor along with the potential switch to USB Type – C ports. However, as per The Trademark Ninja, Apple also plans to use the name “Smart Button” in its upcoming MacBook Pro, which could be a new name for Touch ID sensor along with a way so as to differentiate the button from the “home button” on iOS devices.
Apple also wants to make the MacBook Pro thinner again. However, if you look at the current MacBook Pro, the USB and the MagSafe ports are a bottleneck when it comes to thickness. So, Apple is switching all these ports to USB Type – C ports which will make it easier to make the laptop thinner. Let us hope Apple will include a bunch of USB Type-C ports and not just one.
