Add Item to Taskbar in Windows 8

Introduction

This article explains how to add an item to a taskbar in Windows 8. In this article, you can select one of various toolbars and add it to your Taskbar on your system. Windows 8 has many toolbar items such as Address, Links, Desktop and Touch Keyboard. All these Item by default are not pinned to a taskbar and this depends on the user requirements and preferences.

You can easily add a toolbar icon to access it. A toolbar icon can see different tasks. You can add an item to a taskbar using the Control Panel. You can enter Control Panel into the search box and click on it. You can open the Control Panel and click on Taskbar and then the Taskbar Window will be opened, then you can select the the Item; whatever you want.

Steps How to Add Item to Taskbar in Windows 8

Step 1 : In the Windows 8 OS, you can move the cursor on the bottom-right and click on the search box. In the search box, you can specify what you want.

Step 2 : In the search box, you can type the name "Control Panel" and click on the Control Panel.

Step 3 : In the Control Panel, you click the drop-down menu arrow in the category tab and select the "Large Icons".

Step 4 : A window will appear. You click "Taskbar".

Step 5 : In this step the Taskbar Window pops up. You click the Toolbar tab and you will see all available items to add to your taskbar and you can select whatever you want and then click on the Ok Button or Apply Button.

Step 6 : After the step 5, you will see the Add items highlighted in the Taskbar.
