about binding and editing the data

Hai all,

I have a little confusion.i need to bind all the records from database with data list or repeater can any one suggest the process.and each one will be edited by admin.and each record contains Facebook and twitter links,for this i'm thinking about maintaing database .Is this good idea or can i write url for each image.suggest me please.
