C# Form Load and Methods

Question

In C# I created a small form and a private method now when you double click on the form you get

private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)

in that event handler is it okay to call my private method like so,

private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
//myMethod();

}

Hi Charles That should be ok but what do you want the form to do if the value is not there? is the form the first form or is it loaded in response to something on another form?

Since your question is vague the answers will either be useless or correspondingly vague. Certainly you can call a function from another function and you have not said much more than that.

All its doing is checking to see of a value is present before form load
