Covert Exponential value to number.

Hi All I am reading from an Excel file and filling the details to dataset. There is a column in excel which has values like 2.00206248286005E+15  i want it in real numbers. First i tried to change cell format of excel to number and then it changed to 2002062482860050. and again i tried reading the excel but the value in that column remain 2.00206248286005E+15 in data set. I want to get real number like 2002062482860050 in/from dataset. Thanks Vish.

If you're using the double type then it's just a question of how it's displayed. Converting to decimal or using the F0 format should display it how you want from the .NET side: double ev = 2.00206248286005E+15; decimal d = (decimal)ev; Console.WriteLine(d); string s = ev.ToString(F0); Console.WriteLine(s); The output is: 2002062482860050 2002062482860050
