Dont know to convert my asp.net website into an executable file

Question

Hi friends I m a beginner for asp .net 2.0 . I have created a website using with c# and i want to convert it as a executable file and run in another system. Please if anybody has a solution to solve my problem tell me. Thanks

this can be acomplished as how Visual Studio Does it when u click |> button you can create executable of your site for demo purpose of the site . you just need to find that Development server Exe in ur computer and start using System.Diagnostic and then Point ur Browser to ur aspx page that will do your job ..

A small trick might be helpful for you. Create a windows forms application that has webbrowser docked full of form.There assign NavigateUrl.But as other members said it cant be converted.Windows Forms and Web Forms use different methodology. If it was a Silverlight Application you might use Out-Of-Browser functionality which converts Silverlight Application into a WPF application and runs like an executable application.

We can not conver the Website as Executable file. If you wnat to run ur website in another system(locally /Remotely) then you have to host that website in the server. Jai Hind 51

Websites can not be converted to executable to run on different machines but need to be installed in the web servers and then clients can be accesing the same from hosted websites in the server...

Hi sathya If you want to run the same website on another system just copy the website from one system to another system and open as website in Visual Studio.
