Help a newbie out

Question

Hello I'm new to c# and programming so bare with me. My question is about using system. Is it a namespace of a directive or a header file? And could someone point me in the right direction to find its componets. I've been looking around for details but couldn't find any. Thank you.

Hi Namespaces in C# To create logical groups of related classes and interfaces that can be used by any language targeting the .Net framework namespaces are used. In other words namespaces allow us to organize classes so that they can be easily accessed in other applications. Namespaces also help to avoid naming conflicts between classes having the same names. .NET provides a set of namespaces. using a namespace in C# For example the Console class' name is identified as being in the System namespace by using the code: System.Console.WriteLine(); The dot operator (.) is used both to access amethod in a class (in this case the method writeline()) and to restrict the class to a specific namespace (in this case to locate Console within the System namespace). Namespace. Everything about System and all its child namespaces classes etc. can be found in MSDN. Just pop up the index and type in System with C# as your filter.
