How do I animate a gif on a treenode?

Hi

I have added an animated gif to my ImageList and assigned it to my TreeView (So far so good), but when the gif is displayed it is not animated.  I have looked around and have found various threads describing the ImageAnimator. 

How do I use this in a TreeView/TreeNode?

Also when the gif is displayed it appears to have an outline, can I stop this?
