how to setup Student registration app on a local machine??

Hi all,

I have both vs 2008 and sql server 2005 on my local machine. Could someone please give quick instructions of how to setup this application locally?.
Also, I have one database called "master" running locally, how would I run the batch file that comes with this application into that database.
