Job Description

Introduction:

We are looking for a Q&A specialist who wants to take an active part in the growth of our peer-to-peer lending platform.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, and capable of driving results under tight deadlines and ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to give and receive critical feedback
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Ability to write test plans/strategy/test cases from scratch
  • Self-driven and ability to work under little supervision
  • Basic HTML knowledge is required
  • BS graduate or student in Science or related field

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop test scenarios and generate detailed test procedures to validate requirements and functionality
  • Develop test scenarios solely based on functional specifications
  • Identify and log defects, work with the development team to resolve, and verify fixes when as soon as they are implemented
  • Prepare detailed test reports
  • Provide time estimates for testing
  • Identify and raise risks as early as possible in the system development life cycle
  • Ensure seamless user experience across multiple platforms and browsers
  • Research and implement new test methods

Following skills are a plus:

  • Real-world experience in manual testing is a huge plus- Proficiency with at least one programming language, preferably C# and/or JavaScript\jQuery, is highly desired
  • Experience with any QA automation and/or Web debugging tools (Selenium, DeviceAnywhere, TestComplete, Wireshark, Firebug, Charles, etc.) is a huge plus.
