Introduction
In this article I would like to share the procedure to enable the “Enterprise metadata keywords” in a SharePoint List or Library.
Procedure to Enable the Enterprise Metadata Keywords
Use the following procedure to enable the enterprise keyword for your list.
Step 1: Go to your list in your site, the list that you want to enable the Enterprise metadata keywords for.

Step 2: Then click on the list settings from your list on the top ribbon bar as shown below:

Step 3: On the list settings page, select the “Enterprise metadata and keyword settings” in the Permission Management system section.

Step 4: Then check the “Add an Enterprise keywords column to this list and enable keyword synchronization” as shown below:

Step 5: Finally click on the “Ok” button to save the Enterprise Keywords settings.

The Enterprise metadata Keyword column will be available in your list.

Note: Follow the preceding procedure to your library also.
