You can run an application as Administrator in 4 different ways:
1 ) Use Windows 8 UI's App Bar.
Choose an application by tapping or right-clicking:

Then choose the "Run As Administrator" button from App Bar.
2 ) Choose Application by right-clicking on it or tapping it in Windows 8 UI -> Pin to TaskBar and there right-click on it:

In the context menu, choose "Run as administrator".
3 ) Choose the application by right-clicking on it or tapping it in the Windows 8 UI and then Open File Location - right-click on the application and then Run As Administrator.

4 ) Choose the application by right-clicking on it or tapping it in Windows 8 UI and then Open File Location - right-click on the Application.
Choose Properties.in the dialog window to get to the Compatibility Tab and check the Privilege Level to run as Administrator; see:
