In the past few years, Web development has grown rapidly and so has the use of JavaScript libraries. In this article, I’ve collected data on various JS libraries from various references to list the most used JS libraries.
Based on W3Tech's surveys, 24% of websites do not use any JavaScript. Among all JS libraries, JQuery is the most used by 73% of websites, followed by Bootstrap at 16.4 percent.
The following table lists the top libraries according to Buildwidth. According to this list, jQuery is ranked number one on the list and millions of websites use it.
Note that this list does not tell the most popular JS libraries that are in demand today. This is an overall list of JS libraries used on the Web.
