Add countries using dotnet

I need to fetch the country names using C#.Net. Without using collections in the dropdownlist i need to add.
Example: in a page load i need to get all the countries in the dropdownlist using dot net coding.

I want to add the names of the countries in the dropdownlist. So we have coding in dot net where we can directly add the names of the countries in the dropwdownlist. I just need the sample coding or what type of code do you need to use.

please give details abt ur briefly. is their any limitation for you to dont use collections? to which control u have to add list from dropdown list? give details
