my application using angular js with java struts application. i am saving name with & symbol does not save.

Yes Afzaal I aggress with you however I have mentioned as amp just as a significantvalue which is logically equal to the &and not that exact &amp when we pass&amp also againit contains the & value whichwon't be allowed. As you told URL encode value can be send & - %26 equivalent values. Thanks.

@Bhuvanesh: Not amp but &amp;. That is the correct HTML encoding for ampersand sign; AND sign.

When you sand the & sysmbol or any special character in URL may be discarded due to cross side scripting issue. In UI when you send data replace & with amp and in backend update value by replacing the word. Let me know if moredetails required share your code also. Mark as answer if helpful.

If you are passing & in URL then definitely it won't be saved because URL encoding considers & as a separater. You need to to encode the & sign too. Otherwise prefer using POST method for publishing the content to the servers.
