Assembly Strongname Problem

Hi I am veryfying strongName mydl.dll file but it is showing me bellow error..... Sn –Vr mydll .dll //using this command mydll.dll does not represent a strongly named assembly //Error

You're actually registering the assembly for 'verification skipping' using the -Vr switch. The -v switch is used to verify the strong name. However you'll probably still get the same error message. So are you sure that mydll.dll does represent a strongly named assembly and if you are what steps did you take to make it so?
