Best book for sharepoint beginner

Question

i have no idea about sharepoint like what it is and when one use it ?

i have many years of exp in dotnet to develop windows and web application. so looking for advise and suggestion that how i can learn sharepoint quickly ?

please suggest me few books which would be good for some one to learn sharepoint
who is not familiar with sharepoint.

again c-sharpcorner has few books on sharepoint. so tell me which book i should read as a sharepoint beginner.
