BindingNavigator - faint border lines

Question

Does anyone know how to get rid of the faint outline on the right-hand edge of the BindingNavigator control: image view

I have already set the BackgroundColor to transparent. And the GripStyle to ToolStripGripStyle.Hidden.

You can also see a very faint line running along the bottom edge. I would like to get rid of these lines, so the control looks like it is part of the form itself (as it should when undocked).

To re-create the problem: start a WinForms project drag a BindingNavigator control onto the form set its docking to 'none' move it to any place on the form (away from the top) change the background color of the form set the background color of the BindingNavigator to 'transparent' You should then notice the faint lines which I have displayed in my screenshots. I removed a few of the other buttons (add record and delete) but the problem will still be visible.

If it is possible provide simple instructions for re-creating the problem in a separate program. If you can do that then it will be easier for others to understand and diagnose.

I have come up with a solution but it is a hack. I added the BindingNavigator to a panel with the same color as the form. I then reduced the size of the panel until it obscured the offending lines. See the results here. Whilst I am proud of my lateral thinking I don't like hacks. Because it means your programming against intended usage. I really think this should have been able to be done simply. Winforms does not seem to have evolved one little bit since I started using them with VS 2005. Rant over. (If anyone knows of a correct way to achieve my stated goal rant will be retracted.) Oh and the red outline in the first image was made by Vista's snipping tool. When I made the 2nd screenshot I turned off the border in the options. Vista/7's snipping tool rocks!

The red border aroung the screenshot is not mine. Photobucket.com adds that. In fact I could probably remove it. I made the background light green in color. If I left the form with the default color for a winform you cannot notice the faint lines. I would like to think that they could me made invisible. But it seems not.

I assume you have already done things to make the colors look the way you want them to and you are therefore not using the colors that Windows would normally use from the theme that the user wants to use. If you have done that then it might not be possible to help you at least not without a description of what you have done.
