Biometrics are just a new technology based on the hardware that you provide whereas the Ethernet works in the  Networking  section. In Networking there are no biometrics there are just clients servers and a data transmission medium; internet cable. When you want to send the data from one machine to another you are going to send the stream of bytes from one machine to another. So I would say that you convert those metrics to bytes and then transmit them over network. What is the code or the framework being used can you specify that?
