The RedirectToAction() method can be used to return a RedirectResult that redirects a user from one controller action to another. e.g. return RedirectToAction(Action_Method_Name); You can redirect to another controller's action by using the overloaded method as: return RedirectToAction(Action_Method_Name Another_Controller_Name); If you want to redirect to external url then you can use return Redirect(http://www.google.com);
