By clicking one button how to get a selected row in gridview

Hi

In my project i have a small doubt .I have one page in that page i have 20 buttons only buttons i have and i created gridview if i click one button that button have to retrive the data from the gridview it have to display that row only.

suppose buttons names i'm writing

button1 button2
Photo Laminations Metal Frames ........ when i click button lamination it have to retrive the that photolamination data from the gridview and it have to display if i click the another button that data also have to add to that table plz help me guys

as i understand your requirement You need to use dropdown list instead of 25 buttons and bind gridview based on selectedvalue on selected indexchnge but if you are using 25 buttons then you can filter datatable which is binding gridview on filter query select from datatable where category=button.text

Button1 name is photolamination Button2 name is metal Frame like that i have 25 buttons with 25 categories name when i click on photolamination it have to display the photolamination total row then if i click metalframe button that data have to add to previous row

do you want record on single next button click or you have to click 25 buttons individually

Thanks for helping me .But my question is that in my webpage i have 25 buttons only below that buttons one table is there for example Sno Category Size Quantity UnitPrice This is the my table now if i click one button it have to show. Like this Sno Category Size Quantity UnitPrice 1 Photo lamination 8*10 2 600 And if i click next button tha data also added to that table like this Sno Category Size Quantity UnitPrice 1 Photo lamination 8*10 2 600 2 Metal Frame 8*10 3 800 Please help me guys

Do you mean in your gridview for example first colom has text same as all your Button Text. For example Gridview column[0]row[0]=photolamination and button1.text=photolamination Gridview column[0]row[1]=MetalFrames and button1.text=MetalFrames
