C# and ssrs

Question

I would like users to enter data into excel 'screens' like you would with a .net application. The data will later be displayed in excel and will be stored in a sql server 2005 or sql server 2008 r2 database. Could you tell me how to accomplish this task?

Then I think what you want to do is to write a program that uses a grid to enter data (and edit the data when needed) and the data should be stored into a database table. In your description you say you want go from the grid to the spreadsheet then to the database but I think it would be better to store the data in the database before showing it in the spreadsheet. I don't know enough about your requirements to be sure about what you need to do so if my suggestion is not relevant then say so. There are many possible ways to do things and the best solutions depend on what your requirements are. If this is an ASP application then you probably want to use a GridView and if it is a Windows Forms application then you probably want to use a DataGridView

I am sorry but I do not understand like you would with a .net application. Perhaps other members will understand but my guess is that you need to clarify what that means. When you say Excel screens that might be essentially the same as a grid such as a DataGridView in a form or a GridView in an ASP application.
