C# on the web?

Question

I created a C# application using VS2005. My question is will I be able to post this application to a web page where users can access it? If so, how would I do this? I want users to access the application through a web page rather than install it to their desktop.

Maria A Windows Forms application will not work on the Web. Windows Forms is designed to work on client machine locally only. You must convert your Windows Forms application to an ASP.NET Web Forms application. It will not be a direct conversion. You will have to most likely convert it manually. Many controls or functionality which you have in a Windows Forms may not work or available in ASP.NET.

of course you can. but you have to add the controls with the same names... :-) and on the aspx page also you have to define the controls to runat=server

Hello. Thanks for the reply. The best way I can explain it is that I created Windows Forms and I was wondering if there is a way to convert my application to Web Forms.

Maria i am not sure if i understand as well. it sounds simple.. you have to check in DB if the user exist if yes you can put the application in FTP folder or something than the user will press on the right click and download it. if it isn't your question please explain again. 10x Ido.
