Can I use XML with C# windows applications? For data storage and things like that???

Total newbie question here:

I am building several different apps while trying to learn C#. I once heard that my dbase app that would store members names and contributions could be used with an XML file...this possible?

OR I want to make a game that has trivia questions - was going to use a streamReader but can I do this with XML just as easy or easier????

Does anyone have any good XML / C# - windows tutorial links?

Awesome Brandon thank you! I am excited to try and find the XML way to do a small dbase solution. And I assume that you can somehow encrypt the names and data within the XML sheet? Actually that would probably not matter much since it would be a local application....

Yes XML is an excellent small database solution. While its not a REAL database it does have alot of the functionality and portability of one without all the coding. I used to have a really great site I used awhile back to teach myself some cool XML tricks but I seem to have lost it... Just google what your looking for and Im sure you will find something but like for your game app XML would be a great way to store saved states or other info that you want organized and related to a certain key for data extraction later.
