Can someone recommend...?

Hi,
I have the need to create a custom data bound control and wass wondering whether anyone can recommend a good book or some articles that have been helpful to them?
I am looking to do this in c# and the control will be used within an exe application.

Look in the System.Windows.Forms Namespace ; there are many controls there. Look at the TableLayoutPanel Class; it might help, but I don't know anything about it except what the documentation says.

Hi Mahesh, I've been trying to upload a picture here for but for some reason it won't let me use it after it's been uploaded so i've given up and opted to host it elsewhere.... Back on subject...What I am after is something like this: http://img704.imageshack.us/img704/3715/mafter.jpg Basically it will be a bill of materials - the image above is from a piece of software I use but it has some good points that I think would suit my purposes hence my question. It is quite obscure so I'm guessing it would have to be a custom control (maybe not); something similar would do.... Thanks for your help :)

Can you tell more details about this control? What this control is going to do? You may not need to create your own control. You probably can inherit your control from existing data-bound controls and extend them with new functionality you want to add.
