Cannot find Data Generator

Question

I have created SQL Server database by Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate means in Visual Studio project. I would like to fill it by test data automatically. Msdn says I should create a new item of Data Generation Plan. But I cannot find Data Generation Plan in new item menu... What did I miss? ))

You have to create separate database project in visual studio then only you'll get the datagenerator option.

Murali I suppose it is the key point. I did not create Sql server project and used usual Visual studio project because I already have a lot of code in it.. But are you sure that I cannot create data generation plan in simple project with sql server database attached ?)

Have you created SQL Server database project or windows / web projects in c# or vb.net ? Data Generation plan will work only for database projects only.
