Carrier counselling

Question

Hi Sir I am currently working as technical consultant 3 in concur technologies (working on correx and Compleat tool)  I am interested to do a technical course now such as ASP.NET(I am sound of this technology) which can boost my carrier growth and provide a better avenue for IT industry. Right now I am muddled to decide which course should I pick  as I am having 3 years of IT experience in script based tool like Correx and Compleat which have not much used by other companies  Please help me determine which course should be better. Is it better to opt ASP.NET now. Thanks !

As per your Area choose a best training institute which provides course for ASP.NET. If you have sufficient time then you can attend in daily basis or you can attend in weekend(whichever is preferable for you). When you will start ASP.NET training practise it daily basis. You need to work hard for that because you are 3+ IT experience guy. So you should have 3+ years knowledge on ASP.NET otherwise they will choose you as a fresher in .NET. Don't worry just keep patience. First attend class for ASP.NET and C# basics. Once you are comfortable in ASP.NET then you can go for any emerging technology like MVC WCF AZURE SHAREPOINT. Now a days there are so many online trainings also available for ASP.NET-you can go for that. Once you are getting comfortable with ASP.NET then try to switch your technology in side your company first. If you are not getting any opportunities in current company then you go for other one. Just keep patience and Learn........Everything will be FINE for you.

As you are working now in other technology start learn .NET in background. That means spend time in night or weekend. Focus on one technology and best on that. As I told every technology has future. Hi Manas Many thanks for your update and time. I just want to know  Is it worth to opt ASP.net now  considering current market technologies  What's the future of this technology ? Is there any other better course available (given my experience) which can boost my carrier. what if I go for  PHPPYTHONHTML5CSS and javascript (But I have to start from scratch for these technology but Incase of .NET  I am wary of this technology).
