Comments for methods and properties

Question

I have built a class and I want the end user to see some short comments about the methods and properties like the .NET classes. Does anyone knows how do I enter these comments?

i think you mean that when you expose properties by making them public that you want to have a summary that will appear when in design mode. for example using system.data when finding other properties that it will display what this method or property does. well in vb.net you cannot do that yet. this will be int he new version whitby. at the moment you can do this in c# by using the tag. hope that helps

Do you mean you want the comments to show up while the user is running the program? Then just create a label and have the caption with the comment get updated whenever a method is called or a property changed.

i don't quite understand what you're dealing with but if you're finding how to put comments in VB.NET codes. just put ' in every comments you want. like this... 'this is a comment does this ring a bell? if not please let me know...
