The DLL and exe are to basic units of deployment and they are treated differently by the Operating System.

Now lets come to your problem,
DLL's don't have an entry point as EXEs, so if you want to make your DLL executable you must put an entry point(Main method) in your dll i.e. it'd an EXE.
The OS treats both type of assemblies quiet differently (.dll and .exe) . You can again compile your code as a .exe so that users can use it as an application.
So copy your entire code in a new project say a windows app and make it as an .exe
