Creating a new Web App in Visual Studio

Question

All I am teaching myself to write HTML and I use Visual Studio 2008; my default language is C#. My question is when I create a new Project should I choose Web under the C# language or something other. When I have chosen Web I get a choice of .ASP templates. Thank you Rod

Hi Yes you are right you can use the web site or web application after selecting the c# there is slight difference between the web application and web site. you can use any of them but if you want the difference from the below link. http://forums.asp.net/p/1150861/1876473.aspx Regards Arshad

Thank you Arshad. I will review the link you provided. My end goal in learning HTML is to create UIs for an existing web application a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Thanks again.
