Crystal Report Selection Formula

Am using crystal report and i want to know how to use selection formula kindly help

hi check the fallowing steps 1. go to field explorer 2. Right Click on Formula fields--> new you can see 3 small boxes in the first box you can see report fields and db fields also. give the formula as fallows {CreditSalesBetweenDatesCustomerReport.TOTALAMOUNT}+{CreditSalesBetweenDatesCustomerReport.COURIER}+{CreditSalesBetweenDatesCustomerReport.PACKING}+{CreditSalesBetweenDatesCustomerReport.FREIGHT}
