1.In CrystalReports i am displaying dynamic Report Title text..and if it is too long an exception is coming.. 2.How to bind data to a non Database Field in CrystalReports

Dear ravindranath Whatever the length of text you can set it in config file and then pass it crystal report as parameter after creating parameter in crystal report which will be a non database field try following create one parameter in crystal report name(non database field) CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument rptdocument = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument(); rptdocument .Load(rptpath); crystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = rptdocument ; string name1= ConfigurationManager.AppSettings.Get(name); rptdocument .SetParameterValue(name name1); if you dont know how to create parameter in crystal report(non database field ) then reply

Hi Right Click That Field -> Select Format Object -> Check Can Grow checkBox Under Common Tap

Yes you need to provide more details. I can guess that if your title is too long and you are trying to store in a variable that can't hold the length you will get an exception.
