In my humble opinion you need to go with he basics on Data Binding. Refer to these links below they will help you learn and achieve that: http://hightechnology.in/how-to-bind-data-to-textbox-and-label-in-asp-net/ http://forums.asp.net/post/3412565.aspx In order to use Stored Procedure instead of command text specify your command type as StoredProcedure and put it's name in place of the command text like: SqlCommand sqlCmd = new SqlCommand ( myProcedure  connection ); sqlCmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure; Happy Learning :)
