Datagridview footer row with total

Question

Hi all can some one tell how we can add a footer row to a datagridview in winforms, so that it should display the sum of the required columns.

to this datagridview I would like to add a footer column so that it should display individual totals can some one help me

The DGV doesn't support footer rows as such and it's awkward (when the user can add rows) to keep adding a new row at the bottom of the grid to show totals. Also the user may need to scroll the grid to see the totals. If I were you I'd consider instead placing labels underneath the columns you want to total and then update the labels each time a value is changed in those columns or a row is added or removed. This also has the advantage that the totals will always be visible.
