default exception handling

Question

Hello everyone,
For the default approach for a console application or Windows service written in C#, if there is an uncaught exception, the console application or the Windows service will terminate? Right?
thanks in advance,
George

Thanks,
1.
You mean for normal console application, it will terminates dues to uncaught exception, but for Windows service, it could restart when terminates dues to uncaught exception?
2.
If yes to (1), how to configure? In C# API or somewhere else?
regards,
George

Yes, however a Windows Service can have its recovery options configured to automatically restart the service.
