display list of data from textbox

Question

Hi I want to type some data in a text box and the text box should show as a list of existing data in the tableso that the user can select the required data. For each alphabet he should get the entire list thanks Veeraraghavan

Sorry for the late reply I've been really busy. You can do this a few ways. Probably the easiest way is to create a data reader (SqlDataReader) and then add the reader to the autocomplete custom source (textBox1.AutoCompleteCustomSource.Add(dataReader[0].toString());)

Is the table from a database? If not and you are using Visual Studio or Visual C# Express then just use the autocomplete property and set the autoCompleteCustomSource collection to whatever items you want. It can all be done from the properties window. If though it's from a database you have to do it a little differently...
