Error in Masterpage and viewstate and custom control

Question

Hi I'm building a custom control, that contain a property that is use viewstate. when i use this control in a page, it worked properly. but when i use it in a page that had Masterpage, at each postback property become null. How to solve? Thanks, A.Mahdavi
