oracle problem

Question

I have a working in ASP.NET web application.If i am working in filesystem its working fine.But if i created in IIS its giving the following error.My database is ORACLE.can any one give me the solution.

System.InvalidOperationException: The 'OraOLEDB.Oracle' provider is not registered on the local machine

It's possible you are using are trying to use OleDB for oracle but the provider is not registered or even exists. You can get a provider for Oracle from the Oracle Web Site (At least last time I had to do the same thing that's what I did). Make sure you have a compatible version of Oracle with your current database. (e.g. if it's Oracle 10 use the Oracle 10 provider). You may have to register on the Oracle web site to get the download.
