Where can i get the global area in a window based project in c#.net so that i can put my connection string there?????????????

You can store Connection String in Application Settings ..like below that is accessible to all Forms Within Application. and you can retrieve it in Programming like Below string RetriveString = Properties. Settings .Default[ YourConnectionString ].ToString();

Same like Web.Config in asp.net in windows Application it will create XML file called App.Config when you set Application Settings.. and you can Change it out side of application also by modify App.Config File without Modifiying ..whole application code :) Enjoy ... :)

Thank u so much! But I dont want to retreive!!!!! as we put connection string in web.config and use it! likewise i want it here also!
