Gridview editing event

Question

my gridview event not firing
i am doing like this

and in code behind

Hi If you are loading the gridivew on page load event then check the postback property.

I mean to say cells are not getting editable

Hi you mentioned that when you trace the page using breaking point it hitting the event..and the same time you are telling gridview edit event not firing.... When you trace the page using breakpoints if it hits the the events means that event fired....Might be the problem is with the functionality which is exists in that Event...

yes breaking point hitting the event but when i am hitting twice update word appearing

Did the break point hitting the RowEditing method. Are you using Ajax if yes then set the Triggers for controls for executing the events.
