highlighting text in text box control

Question

Hi all gurus Is it possible to highlight text or make it bold or change its color in the text box control and then save it to the database? so i can retreive the same format back to the text box? eg. I want to save this text as highlighted . And this one is not highlighted. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you Jetli

Hi I dont think you can store Bold/Highlited text in any of the database datatypes. Thanks -- Vj

hi You may use Any HTML editor for Highlighted text and save it in text(datatype) format.

If you use a richtextbox instead of a textbox you can save the rtf into a database and later set the richtextbox control's rtf property to the content stored previously into the database as rtf.
