How do I make a Textbox Postback on KeyUp

i gave one dropdown which name is ddlproduct and one textbox name txtqunatity when the ddlproduct.selectedvalue and txtquantity send to database then it return some msg but to that return only when ddlprodcut set to postback=true but i want to do this on when the value is insert in textbox then it return the result

Vishal Jadav thanks. i have a stock table in database and dropdown list show the product and textbox for quantity when the user enter the quantity then it select the product in dropdown then check in database if the product available or not so that is why im using this ..but every time i have to select the product again to check the may be low quantity available or not so that is why i want to do this action on textbox not on dropdown. kindly guide me or give me a some reference

Hi Yes its better to use JavaScript for such events because you wont be able to get postback until and unless you leave the focus from text box. why do you want to do this ? Can you please explain ? Because no body want to postback but silent. If you don't mind please explain your need . Thank you JADAV VISHAL

Hi Imran Instead of setting the PostBack property of dropdown to True set the PostBack property of textbox to True. Thanks Prawin
