how i can select multiple row in datagrid using c#.net

i am working using asp.net and c#.net . how i can select multiple row in datagrid. for example in datagrid i have 10 rows. i need to select alternative rows . please tell me  and send me the code . it will be help.

when u select a row.....get its selected index in selected index change method then... on the basis of odd or even.........make the next 10 even and odd rows as selected tooo. rite the code of it here
