How to auto increment integer + variable in c#

Question

Can you explain me how to auto increment integer + variable the value like CAD00001CAD00002 and go on.. using c#.net............................. When i click the save button stu_ID auto increment like CAD00001CAD00002 every time press save button Auto Generate this ID and show the text box...................?

Hi Mayoorann you can use this code for your desired formate string tst = CAD00001; int atoinc = Convert.ToInt32(tst.Substring(3))+1 ; tst = CAD + atoinc.ToString().PadLeft(5'0'); Hope this will work for you.

you can concat string and integer value. First you can select max value of id of right in sql then add +1 in every id after that save in database.
