how to backup the database?

hi in my sql server database have lot of databases and tables are there. how to back up these databases and tables because i want to format my system so i need a database backup. how to take database backup. please give a solution Thanks.

Hello... One simple way to backup the database is using a application SQL Server Management Studio Express. If you are working in ASP.Net and have to backup the database. Open this application and create a .sql file for your entire database and save it. This will be your backup and if you want to store it then open the development explorer and execute it. It will automatically be restored.

hi Right click on your database then Navigagate on Task then select Backup... . Then select Destination of Backup and click on Add button for taking backup. thanks
