How to call click event of checkbox using Jquery in ASP.NET

Hi I have a Checkbox in My web page . i want that when i checked the checkbox a div in the page is hide and when unchecked the checkbox div is visible. I want to done this using Jquery. How it is possible. plz reply..

Just bind the Click event with your checkbox and check whether checkbox is checked or not.Accordingly you can hide/show your div. You can bind in jQuery's doc ready as - $([id$=myCheckBoxID]).Click( function() {// check and hide/show your div }); And for checking whether your checkbox is checked- if ( $(ths).is(:checked) ) And for hiding your div - $([id$=myDivID]).hide(); So your code would be like this- $([id$=myCheckBoxID]).Click( function() { if ( $(ths).is(:checked) ) { $([id$=myDivID]).show(); } else { $([id$=myDivID]).show(); } }); //end of Click event bind
