hello i am creating a webservice that return datatable but if i use this webservice in phpiphone then i need in xml so i want to retrun data table in xml formate how i do that plz help me

you can try this //populate you datatable first and before returning dt.RemotingFormat = SerializationFormat.Xml; return dt; which will return datatable in Xml format.
