Most Angular 7 performance issues come from change detection, large bundles, and unnecessary re-rendering.

Quick wins:

Use OnPush change detection for components where possible
Always use trackBy with *ngFor
Lazy load feature modules
Avoid calling functions directly from templates
Use async pipe instead of manual subscriptions
Build with ng build --prod
Use CDK virtual scroll for large lists

Also, profile the app using Chrome DevTools or Augury before optimizing. Angular 7 is fast enough if the architecture is clean and change detection is under control.
