How to Merge and Sum-up Rows data in Crystal Report

Question

I have a crystal report which shows different fruits data on the basises of Fruit Name Group. I am attaching a screen shot which tells the clear requirenment I want to grpup same type of fruits merge all into one rows and sum of their values as well. I need help someone can suggest better idea.

Hi Qadeer You will be able to do this using a cross tab. Add a cross tab to your report. (Insert > Cross Tab) Then right click on it and go to 'Cross Tab Expert'. I hope you have fruit type column in your dataset. So add it to the rows collection. then add weight amount and total columns under summarized fields. Then the tricky part is displaying the fruit names. For that select fruit type row that you added under rows collection in cross tab and click 'Group options'. then customize the group name. This part will be bit tricky. But I hope it's possible using some formula. Let me get back to you after some research.
