how to select between two Dates?..

Question

Dear Friends I would Like to know the query.Which will have the condition is  Two dates Those Date START_DT And END_DT I want to Fetch the data according to the two dates and Current date. The Current date between the two dates . How to select Data in group of datas..I require query in Oracle Based.. Thanks in advance  by Karthik.k

SELECT * FROM YourTable WHERE START_DT OR END_DT>=TO_DATE('13/08/2013' 'dd/mm/yyyy') Anyway i am using the above code ...i Unable to use Your Procedure..because i want get some field in values from one table so i cant use that one and then i have to insert it to one table .. i Tested above query its working ..If you find flaws in that ..pls let me know.. i have stored two dates in one table namely START_DT AND END_DT ... Those may different date For Ex: 10-8-13  30-9-13 ... i Am going to Insert One record in other table according to the Those dates if its within the two mentioned date ..i will put entry ..otherwise i will not For that  i have use the Current date ..how is Possible ?.. are you passing START_DT and END_DT value to the query or just current date?

Dear Iftikar That query have 1 problem It checks the End_dt Properly and not check the Start_dt...For Example i start-dt is 15-8-13 End_Dt may be 20-9-13... When i select its not shows me the resultant data.. Just revert me..
